2016–2019: As an active Committee Member of the Parent Teacher Group (PTG) at St Andrews International School in Bangkok, I was designated their communicator, writing newsletter articles and emails that went out to the parents of all 1900 students. We also published regular “PTG updates”, such as this one:

2019–2020: As Chairperson of the Committee, I worked with a dedicated team to implement a uniform graphic design look to our posters and other communications. Sustainability was a big issue as we continued to run our beloved second-hand uniform sales and Santa banished plastic from his gifts to primary school children.

The academic year took a challenging turn as COVID-19 emerged and decisions had to be made before the situation was declared a pandemic by the WHO. (For example, do we cancel Fun Day, planned for March 2020, and which the whole school community had been looking forward to, after it had already been cancelled the previous year due to air pollution? Of course, in January 2020 we were not yet aware of what was in store for the world over the next three years).
